Why Advantage?

The value of dental insurance

Dental insurance makes dental care more affordable! With a focus on prevention, Advantage Dental Care covers professional services with routine check-ups, cleanings and restorative treatments reimbursed at 80%. This helps reduce out-of-pocket costs, so you pay less for the dental care you need.

  • Good oral health is vital, and integral to your general health and wellbeing. Research shows good oral health has a positive effect on overall health and well-being. During an oral exam, your dentist can detect signs of 100+ diseases just by examining your mouth!

  • Encourage routine dental care for long term benefit: During preventive check-ups, your dentist is better able to detect problems early on and help you avoid more costly and complex procedures in the future.

  • Cost savings and budget management: Advantage Dental Care helps you save money by covering a minimum 80% of preventive and restorative treatment, including extensive procedures.

  • Coverage for the unexpected: Oral health problems can appear unexpectedly. With secure online claiming, and settlement direct to your nominated bank account, Advantage Dental Care makes it easier and more cost-effective to get the care you need so you don’t have to worry about the future.

A healthy smile can make all the difference. That's why keeping smiles healthy is what we do. Whether enabling you to take care of small dental concerns before they become big problems or making complex dental treatments more affordable, an Advantage Health Dental Plan can help you and your family achieve better overall health.

The plan levels are designed to suit your needs and lifestyle, whether you are looking to protect yourself and your family against the cost of NHS treatment, or provide for comprehensive cover against the increasing costs of routine private preventative and restorative dental fees.

Cover can be extended to your partner, and dependant children can be covered up to the age of 25.

How does dental insurance work, & What are my costs?

If you’ve had health insurance, you’re going to be familiar with how a dental plan works.

  • You pay a premium, a specified onthly amount, to buy the plan.

  • Advantage Dental Care does not apply any deductable or excess to your claim.

  • Your plan may include co-pays, a fixed cost you pay for a certain service, like an X-ray.

  • Co-insurance refers to the percentage you pay of covered expenses after you meet your deductible. So if your co-insurance for a filling is 20%, and the cost for that service in-network is £100, you would pay just £20 of that. Advantage Dental Care pay for the rest of your covered expenses up to your annual maximum.

Can I buy Advantage Dectal Care without having health insurance?

Yes. It is standalone coverage. You don’t need to have any other kind of health insurance to purchase Advantage Dental Care.
